My daughter is growing up, and growing up fast. She's in her teenage years already.
I just found out earlier that her batch at school is organizing an interaction (or to use a term we used when I was in high school, a soiree) with an all-boy school. For context my daughter is studying in an all-girl school. Yes, those are still a thing here in the Philippines.
Anyway my wife and I gave her our blessing to attend. This will be the first event she'll be going that begins in the evening. It's a bit worrying for me since I can honestly say I'm a pretty overprotective parent.
So we'll see what happens when this event happens. It's an informal event that isn't sanctioned by the school, as far as I know. So we'll see.
